Kate Middleton and Prince William have reached a victory against French publication Closer in the topless photos scandal.

The 30-year-old Duchess of Cambridge was photographed without her top on during a private vacation with her husband at a chateau in France earlier this year.

Closer has been ordered to “turn in all digital copies of the photos by noon Wednesday, must not print the photos further and will face a $12,000 fine each time it defies the ruling,” according to ABC News.

“The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge welcome the judge’s ruling,” a representative for St. James’s Palace said.

Here in L.A., they like to distinguish a 'leading man' from a 'character actor,' and I don't like that. I think a leading man is someone who simply plays themselves and who also happens to be handsome. Someone like Cary Grant. And I love Cary Grant. But I'm not him."

On having his Looper role written for him: "That's the first time that's happened in my career. And obviously, it's a real honor, coming from a filmmaker I admire so much. Not long after we shot Brick together, [director] Rian [Johnson] started telling me about this time travel idea he had. That was in 2003. A couple years later, he wrote the script and we took it from there."

On his Looper character: "He's a sad guy. On the surface he looks like a badass and a killer, but in reality, he's not living the life he wants to live. He doesn't have anyone or anything he cares about."

On Whitney Houston: “Whitney was my girl, and she had done so well in recovery. And that is the toughest part about addiction. …That was a monster drug that got ahold of her, it was a mean one. You can't go back to that one. Nobody beats that. I look at people—and I don't think I'm speaking out of line—Sam Jackson, I've known for thirty-some-odd years, he was down at the bottom. And he came all the way back. And when he cleaned up, he never looked back. But he can't have that beer, because it might lead to the tough thing.”
