Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi and her fiance Jionni LaValle have welcomed their first child – a baby boy named Lorenzo, her rep confirms to JustJared.com.

“The world just got another Guido!!! Lorenzo Dominic LaValle has entered the
world weighing 6lbs, 5oz. Nicole, Jionni & Enzo are doing great!,” read a statement from the couple.

The 24-year-old Jersey Shore star went into labor late Saturday evening (August 25) and gave birth to Lorenzo Dominic later that night at Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, N.J.

“I am SO IN LOVE with my son Lorenzo Dominic !” Snooki tweeted. “I had my little man last night, healthy at 6lbs! HE’S MY WORLD! ❤”

Snooki, who is currently filming the second season of her MTV series Snooki & JWoww, is reportedly trying to film the birth for the show.
