Just in time for the Fourth of July, Florence + the Machine has released the patriotic themed video for their song “Breaking Down”!

The video follows a tour diary format with a vintage Super 8 camera feel. It follows the group around Los Angeles, Las Vegas and New Orleans.

Legendary television star Andy Griffith has passed away at the age of 86.

Mr. Griffith died on Tuesday morning (July 3) at his home in Manteo, N.C., according to his close friend UNC President Bill Friday. The news was broken to WITN News in North Carolina.

Andy starred as Sheriff Andy Taylor on The Andy Griffith Show for eight years and continued the role on Mayberry R.F.D. In addition to his accomplishments on television, Andy was a Grammy award-winning southern gospel singer.

We send our condolences to Andy‘s friends and family during this difficult time.

On giving advice to her Duets contestants: "Last week, one of the Duets contestants was crying. She said, 'I gave everything up to come here, and I'm scared.' I thought back to Idol and how I didn't know much except that I was scared, and that I had nothing left to lose. I told her, 'That fear? It's your power in this situation. Use it, because it's your fire.'"
