Kelly Clarkson graces the cover of Redbook‘s July issue, on newsstands June 12.

Here’s what the 30-year-old singer and Duets star had to share:

On losing weight: “I do cardio. I run. I strength-train using my own body weight. I don't like free weights, because I build muscle easily. Really, what I try to instill in my fans is to be healthy and happy. I have no desire to be super-skinny.”

On doing Duets after American Idol: “I'm going to be completely honest – I had no one looking out for me. They were looking out for the show, and it was horrible. I was 19-years-old. I was smart enough to know that it wasn't about me, but that didn't make it any easier. I'm all cried out about it, but my first four years, I hated my life; I almost quit a dozen times.”

On finding happiness: “I know – where's the kick in the ass? I told my assistant that today. I said, ‘I'm just waiting for something to blow up.’ She said, ‘No, that's what happiness is.’ I'm like, maybe I've never been happy! Because [my boyfriend] Brandon [Blackstock] does. He makes me happy.”

Queen Elizabeth leaves a service of thanksgiving at St. Paul’s Cathedral on Tuesday (June 5) in London, England.

The 86-year-old monarch celebrated her Diamond Jubilee with members of the Royal Family, including her son Prince Charles and his wife, Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall. The Queen‘s grandchildren, Princess Eugenie, Princess Beatrice, and Prince Harry also participated in the festivities.

President Obama sent his “heartfelt congratulations” to The Queen in a video message released by the White House.

“As a steadfast ally, loyal friend and tireless leader, your majesty has set an example of resolve that will be long celebrated. And as we work together to build a better future for the next generation, it is gratifying to know that the bonds between our nations remain indispensable to our two countries and the world,” he said.

“In honour of your 60 extraordinary years on the throne, communities across the commonwealth have lit thousands of Jubilee beacons,” Barack added. “May the light of your majesty's crown reign supreme for many years to come."

Prince William and his wife, Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge attend a reception at Guildhall on Tuesday (June 5) in London, England.

The event was part of the fourth day of Queen Elizabeth‘s Diamond Jubilee celebration.

William, 29, and Kate, 30, also rode in a carriage procession after attending a service of thanksgiving at St. Paul’s Cathedral with other members of the Royal Family.

The night before, the couple – along with William‘s younger brother, Prince Harry – checked out the Diamond Jubilee Concert, which featured performances by Elton John, Paul McCartney, and many others!

She had a good time. She was honest.' I don't care about the voracious, starving sh-t eaters who want to turn truth into shit. Not that you can say that in Vanity Fair!"

On her style as a kid: “Look at a picture of me before I was 15. I am a boy. I wore my brother's clothes, dude! Not like I cared that much, but I remember being made fun of because I wasn't wearing Juicy jeans. I didn't even think about it. I wore my gym clothes. But it's not like I didn't care that they made fun of me. It really bothered me. I remember this girl in sixth grade looked at me in gym and was like, 'Oh my God!
