The 31-year-old actor stars as a “history teacher living a quiet life with his girlfriend until he discovers a physically identical man living nearby with his pregnant wife. The teacher stalks his double until the couples' lives become intertwined with lethal consequences,” according to Deadline.

The psychological thriller, based on the José Saramago‘s novel “The Double,” recently added three new actresses to its cast.

Mélanie Laurent (Inglourious Basterds), Sarah Gadon (Cosmopolis), and Isabella Rossellini will join Jake in the flick.

Jessica Chastain and James McAvoy will soon be hitting the big screen together!

The duo will be starring as a married couple in Myriad Pictures’ double-feature film project The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby: Him and The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby: Her, according to Variety.

The film’s will be told from the perspective of James (Him) and Jessica‘s (Her) characters during a rocky time in their relationship.

Originally, Joel Edgerton was attached to star opposite Jessica.

Ned Benson penned both scripts, and the films are aimed to begin production in July.

The pic will be a remake of the 1954 flick Seven Samurai, The Magnificent Seven. No director or writer is currently attached to the project, and according to reports, it is “still a long ways off.”
