The 37-year-old television personality inked a new deal with the popular reality singing competition show for two more years on camera, according to EW.

"Ryan is one of a kind," Mike Darnell, president of alternative at Fox, said in a statement. "His ability to engage the viewers, keep the contestants at ease during intense moments and adapt to any situation, especially during the live shows, solidifies him as the absolute best in the business.”

American Idol is currently in its eleventh season on the Fox network.
