On the fall-out after the Chris Brown incident: "It gave me guns. I was like, well, f—. They know more about me than I want them to know. It's embarrassing. But that was my opening. That was my liberation, my moment of bring it. I wanted people to know who I am. Whatever they take that to be, good or bad, I just want them to know the truth. There are still a lot of rumors out there, and I'll never be able to stop that. But you just have to ignore all that stuff. I have more freedom the more people know about me. It's like, one less skeleton in the closet, one less burden, one less secret; now you know that, so you can say what you want about it. I don't have anything to hide."

On finding a man: "I feel like it's hard for everybody! I don't think it has anything to do with being famous. There's just a major drought out there. I don't know. I guess I'm challenging, because my job seems to affect every relationship I have or try to have. Even with people I think should get it, you know? That seems to be a big factor; it's always an issue. But I just need to find the person who balances me out, because then things like my schedule won't matter. I've done it before, so I know I can do it again."

On meeting the Obamas: "I was so starstruck … we were at the White House having cocktails and this woman said, 'Would you like to meet President Obama?' They introduced me and then he turned to me and went, 'Oh. Oh. You are a wonderful actress.' And I laughed, screechingly and hysterically, I couldn't stop. They had to usher me away. I fell apart. I don't know what happened to me. He looked 9-feet tall. I think my eyes rolled back in my head. I gave Michelle a hug and she had skin like silk.”

On having a stutter as a child: "It was hard. I'd want to ask to go to the toilet but couldn't get the words out."

On her style: "I like to mix it up, but I don't care what people say about what I'm wearing on the red carpet, because there's inevitably going to be someone who hates it, even if you wear something that a lot of people like. I don't care. I know what I like and what I feel good in and I like to take a few risks. They're not huge strides."

Madonna has earned her eighth career-spanning spot at number one on the Billboard 200 chart with her newly released album MDNA!

The 53-year-old entertainer’s record debuted at the top spot, which so far has sold 359,000 copies, according to Billboard.

Madonna is only one more premiere debut spot away from tying for first place with the current record holder, Barbra Streisand.

MDNA was also number one in forty different countries on the iTunes charts, according to Reuters.

Amy Adams has joined the cast of Into the Woods for The Public Theater’s “Shakespeare in the Park” season this summer!

Synopsis (via Playbill): A witch’s curse condemns the Baker and his Wife to a life without children. They embark on a quest to find the four items required to break the spell: the cow as white as milk, the cape as red as blood, the hair as yellow as corn, and the slipper as pure as gold. Will they succeed? And what happens after ‘happily ever after?’

Amy, 37, will participate in the outdoor summer production July 23 through August 25 at NYC’s Central Park.
