If the goal of "Afro-Punk" was to draw a circle around black artists in alternative music, it's lucky for us that doing so is impossible: The free two-day festival ended up with a lineup that's as diverse in sound as it is coherent in spirit. Come for the headlining pop stars (Cee Lo Green, Santigold, Janelle Monáe) and you'll spend the day hearing indie dreamers (Toro Y Moi), boho soul (Res), arty new wave (Fordon Voidwell), pranksterish rap (Das Racist), and more.
