Last week, Metronomy's The English Riviera—a delightfully breezy collection of bummed-out electro-pop—was nominated for the Mercury Prize, given for the best British album of the year. That doesn't mean the band, who released their first LP in 2006, will immediately break big in the U.S. It does mean, though, that this (free! Outdoor! With a river view!) show is a great place to catch underrated international jams.
