Still can’t get enough of Princess Kate’s gorgeous wedding look, including her classic, yet modern hairstyle.

“I love that she stayed true to herself and didn’t go for the fussy up-do,” says Celebrity Stylist Jessica Tingley. “The half up demi-chignon is a great option to keep the hair out of your face and show off long, shiny locks.”

Jessica, who has worked with Heidi Klum and Mandy Moore, shares how you can achieve this classic look.

“Start with a great full blowout. Start on towel dried hair and spritz each section with a volumizing spray. I am loving Serge Normant’s Meta volume spray.

Then blow-dry in one inch sections with a medium sized boar bristle round brush. Creating lots of volume and smooth shine.

After the hair is blown out, tease the crown in small sections at the base with a fine toothcomb. Then brush over the top as if you were frosting a cake, to smooth over the teasing without brushing it out.

Next, part the hair to the side and pull up the sides of the hair and twist them together in the back and secure with bobby pins. Creating a small French twist in the back.

Now create the big curls with a large 1 1/2 inch barrel curling iron. Section the hair into one inch sections and spray each section with a light hair spray before curling into large barrel curls. Then simply brush the curls out into pretty waves. Finish with a light hold spray. No need to shellac this look. The soft natural shine is the key to its beauty. The volumizing spray from step one along with the light spray on the sections before curling are excellent ways to guarantee all day hold.

If you have a tiara from the Queen, then top off the look with that, you lucky girl! If not, a beautiful hair accessory like a brooch pinned to the back or flowers like Pippa, will add the perfect finish to this elegant, natural bridal look.”
